It examines how school districts, charter schools and state policy leaders can enact the recommendations of the newly adopted Long-Range Plan for Public Education.

This free-one day conference called Learning Roundtable: Recruiting, Preparing, and Retaining Top Teachers, occurred Jan. 31, 2018 at the Austin Convention Center. The State Board of Education and the State Board for Educator Certification partnered to explore the topic that examines how Texas can best prepare and retain world-class teachers.
