Learning Roundtable: Building a Stronger Texas (2019)

This free-one day conference called Learning Roundtable: Building a Stronger Texas is scheduled for Jan. 30, 2019 at the Austin Convention Center. It examines how school districts, charter schools and state policy leaders can enact the recommendations of the newly adopted Long-Range Plan for Public Education.

Learning Roundtable: Recruiting, Preparing, and Retaining Top Teachers (2018)

This free-one day conference called Learning Roundtable: Recruiting, Preparing, and Retaining Top Teachers, occurred Jan. 31, 2018 at the Austin Convention Center. The State Board of Education and the State Board for Educator Certification partnered to explore the topic that examines how Texas can best prepare and retain world-class teachers.

The State Board of Education and Texas Commissioner of Education Mike Morath hosted a conference Sept. 12, 2016 called the Learning Roundtable: Educating the Children of Poverty. National and state researchers and educators explored ways to transform high-poverty schools into high-performing schools.
