1. School Board Member Training-Work Session

The Ad Hoc Committee on Trustee Team Building Training will continue its work reviewing the State Board of Education’s (SBOE's) Framework for School Board Development. The framework clarifies the role of the local board of trustees and local board members and enhances communication between local boards of trustees and the Texas Legislature, SBOE, and the Texas Education Agency. Additionally, the committee will review the current requirements for team building training for local boards of trustees and the prescribed qualifications for trainers that provide the team building training.
