Competitive Grant Dates

This page will serve as a calendar resource for upcoming formal competitive grant programs. For current competitive grants, visit the TEA Grant Opportunities page, and under the Search Options section, select as the Application Type "Discretionary Competitive" and/or "Letter of Interest," then click Search. A list of the corresponding competitive grants will appear in the Search Results section. To view the Request for Application for any listed grant program, click the magnifying glass next to the grant program name.

Please refer to the grant's Request for Application in the TEA Grant Opportunities page for specific eligibility requirements and instructions related to the grant. A complete description of competitive-grant processes can be found in the General and Fiscal Guidelines. Formal competitive grants will be announced through email bulletins and Texas Register Notices. Interested parties can subscribe for email bulletins by going to the Sign Up for Updates page on the TEA website and selecting Grants from the Finance and Grants category.
