2022-2023 LASO Grant — LASO Award Acceptance Deadline

The purpose of this letter is to inform local educational agencies (LEAs) of the upcoming ADC deadline for the 2022-2023 Learning Acceleration Support Opportunities (LASO) grant. The LASO grant is the next iteration of a universal consolidated application cycle, strategically batching eight unique grant funding opportunities to optimize continued learning acceleration and provide innovation opportunities. 

Next Steps

The LASO ADC window opened on February 21st and closes on March 31, 2023, at 11:59 pm. In order to receive funding for direct funded grants, LEAs must complete the following steps to secure funding:  

• Enter the eGrants platform on the TEAL login and locate the 2022-2023 Learning Acceleration Support Opportunities (LASO) Grant. https://tealprod.tea.state.tx.us/
• Submit the 2022-2023 Learning Acceleration Support Opportunities (LASO) Grant Applicant Designation Certification (ADC)  
• Open the 2022-2023 Learning Acceleration Support Opportunities (LASO) Grant application and complete all program related schedules  
• Complete the budget summary and all necessary budget schedules for each awarded initiative  
• Certify and submit the application on or before March 31, 2023, at 11:59 pm  

Please note that LASO’s Strong Foundations Implementation (SFI) and Additional Days School Year (ADSY) grants are based on in-kind and outside provider funding. These will not be direct grant funds available to the LEA. The LEA will receive goods and services aligned to the initiative up to the dollar amount named for in-kind awards. If an LEA receives only SFI or ADSY awards, ADC completion will not be applicable.
