The Texas Education Agency (TEA) is pleased to announce the opening of grant opportunities for the 2021–2023 Grow Your Own Grant Program, Cycle 4, and 2021–2022 Principal Residency Grant, Cycle 4.
The 2021–2023 Grow Your Own Grant Program, Cycle 4, can be used by districts to encourage high school students to consider teaching as a career and paraprofessionals and/or teacher aides to pursue certification.
The 2021–2022 Principal Residency Grant, Cycle 4, can be used by districts to cover preparation and certification costs and implement a full-time, year-long residency for their aspiring principals. Both grants are in support of the TEA’s strategic priority to recruit, support, and retain teachers and principals.
