4-H Military Partnerships

  • 4-H Military Partnership focuses on positive youth development through providing opportunities for youth to engage in intentional learning experiences. We partner with 4-H educators to provide them the training and resources they need to succeed in equipping the next generation of leaders.
  • As military families move frequently and experience the difficulties surrounding deployment and reintegration, 4-H provides predictable programming and a safe and nurturing environment for military connected children and youth to excel.

Army Youth Program in Your Neighborhood (AYPN)

  • A collaborative effort between the United States Army and the Boys & Girls Club of Central Texas. They provide a positive place for Middle School students to go afterschool.  AYPN program teaches your child Character and Leadership Development, Education & Character Exploration, Health and Life Skills, The Arts, Sports and Fitness and Recreation.

Boys & Girls Club of America and the U.S. Armed Services

  • Provides children of military personnel with youth development programs and activities.

Communities In Schools (CIS) of Texas

  • Provides individual case management services utilizing community engagement. 

Empowering the Military Teen | Bloom

  • A website created by military teens for military teens. Bloom provides an online space for military teens to connect and share experiences. The site hosts a wide range of content create by military teens, including blog posts, art, videos, and poetry!

Operation Purple Programs | National Military Family Association (NMFA)

  • NMFA connects military families with camps, retreats, and healing adventures.

Our Military Kids

  • A non-profit organization which supports military-connected children in 5-12th grade who have a National Guard and Reserve deployed parent as well as children of wounded warriors from all service branches. 

Sesame Street - Military Families Resources for Young Children

  • Sesame Street has a dedicated webpage with videos for children to help them cope with the ups and downs of military life.
