Evidence-Based Programs for Alcohol Awareness
The State Board of Education has adopted essential knowledge and skills for the health curriculum that address the dangers, causes, consequences, signs, symptoms, and treatment of binge drinking and alcohol poisoning. TEA compiled this list of evidence-based alcohol awareness programs. School districts shall choose one for use in their middle school, junior high school, and high school health curriculum.
The following agencies have identified evidenced-based programs for alcohol awareness:
