AUSTIN – Commissioner of Education Mike Morath has announced the appointment of Alexandrew Seale to the Beaumont Independent School District board of managers.

A graduate of Clifton J. Ozen High School in the Beaumont Independent School District, Seale works as an executive director for Chick-fil-A. In addition, he is owner of Seale Consulting and Analytics. Seale has been active in Leadership Beaumont, Junior Achievement and the Dishman Elementary PTA.

Seale will replace Joe Domino. Domino had served on the BISD board of managers since its installation in 2014 and resigned from the board in August.

Commissioner Morath initiated the transition to an elected board earlier this year. As part of the transition, the next appointments by the Commissioner are not required until 2019.

The appointment of the BISD board of managers is set to expire on Feb. 6, 2020.
