The Strategic Compensation Fellowship Grant provides local educational agencies (LEAs) and regional education service centers (ESCs) the opportunity to plan and implement salary-based strategic compensation systems, in alignment with funds received through the Teacher Incentive Allotment and supplemented with local funds. The purpose of this grant program is to provide the opportunity for planning and implementation for strategic compensation with the goal of rewarding, retaining, and recruiting the best teachers to serve the students who need the most support. Grantees will be LEAs or ESCs supporting LEAs that do not currently have a salary-based strategic compensation system in place.
